Mr. Hadjian is a Certified Family Law Specialist by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California, and the majority of his practice in Sherman Oaks, California is limited to litigation of complicated Family Law issues.
Litigation, in addition to understanding of the law, requires working knowledge of the techniques of collecting and presenting the material facts to the Court. A California family court is a non-jury tribunal, and as such, an attorney’s reputation and expertise in understanding the law, development of the facts, and communicating with the Court are the most significant factors, directly affecting outcome of a trial. In addition to being a Certified Family Law Specialist, Mr. Hadjian has over two (2) decades of trial experience, and has received trial training by the reputed Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute, of the American Bar Association, Houston, Texas.
As a trial and litigation specialist, Mr. Hadjian’s practice is dedicated to analysis of the law and collecting the facts necessary to prepare for trial complicated family law disputes. As a litigation specialist, Mr. Hadjian has helped hundreds, if not thousands of California husbands and wives, in the area of validity of marriage, date of separation, prevention of domestic violence, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, division of assets, division of assets and debts, and reimbursement of commingled separate and community property.
In the area of financial disputes, especially hidden income, discovery of financial fraud and misappropriation of funds by the spouses during the marriage, Mr. Hadjian’s focused practice, background, education and experience, has helped his office to develop special techniques and expertise in locating, discovering, collecting, analysis and development of facts, necessary to prove income and assets hidden in California and elsewhere. As a result many of Mr. Hadjian’s clients has benefitted from his expertise unparalleled by other litigants.
In addition to the Family Law Trials, Mr. Hadjian has also participated in writing and arguing two (2) appellate decisions, i.e. WILLIAMS, v. LAUSD (1994), 23 Cal.App.4th 84; 28 Cal.Rptr.2d 219 , and GALVIS v. PETITO (1993) 13 Cal.App.4th 551, 16 Cal.Rptr.2d 560.
Mr. Hadjian has been also appointed as a Mediator, Judge Pro Tem, by the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles since 1995, and as and Minor’s Counsel (advocating right and interest of children in the Family Law disputes) from 2006.
